Infrastructure Facilities
In our modernized infrastructure facilities, we have been developing top-quality products like Top Discharge Industrial Centrifuge Machine, Manual Top Discharge Centrifuge Machine, Electric Lifting Bag Centrifuge Machine, Plate Type Hydro Extractor Machine, etc. Moreover, our infrastructure facilities include the following:
- Shaft and Bearings- The primary shaft is of appropriate steel and is adequately proportionate to bear the loads put on it by centrifugal forces caused by all normal and uneven distribution of the charge in the basket. Heavy duty ball/roller bearings support the main shaft and have a statistical life of 5000 or more operating hours. Grease is used to lubricate these bearings. Grease retainers are installed to ensure that long lubricating intervals are maintained.
- Basket- The basket shell is sufficiently thick to withstand the stress generated by the centrifugal force, which is typically perforated. The shell and the top flange can be supplied in M.S., M.S. rubber-lined or SS (AISI 304 or 316). The basket bottom plate is made of M.S. and is rubber lined or 16 swg S.S. as applicable, at the top and bottom surfaces. Close grained cast iron makes up the basket hub.
- Drive System- The drive system includes 415V/3ph/50Hz squirrel cage induction TEFC electric motor which drives the basket through V-belts. The motor is mounted at the basket casing (outer drum) and there is provision for tensioning the belts. Except for the models 40-5, 40-7 and 50-5 all other models are tightly fitted with centrifugal clutch pulley. These heavy duty designed clutches are specially for centrifuge duties.
- Vibration Suspension- For vibration absorption, these centrifuges include a heavy duty three point pendulum suspension. At both the ends of the suspension rods, hemispherical bearings are used.
- Brakes- Centrifuges model 40-5, 40-7, 50-5 are fitted with ferodo-lined foot operated disc brakes. All other models are fitted with ferodo-lined hand operated external shoe brakes. All of these heavy duty designed brakes bring the loaded basket which has heavy inertia to stop within 35 to 50 seconds.
- Material of construction- At the contact surfaces, mild steel or rubber-lined M.S. or S.S. (AISI 304 or 316) is usually used.
